This book is designed for kids and as such I can see why they don't want to bore anyone but I personally would liked to have seen more of that three months instead of deciding a plan and then going straight to the day before the plan is executed.

With a lot of fantasy books the main character is always a ‘special’ person. Fletcher is special because of how he became a summoner and his demon but the other two main characters, Othello and Sylva are also special in a way.
